The worst part came when we were trying to leave. The hotel kept our luggage at reception for almost 30 minutes because they said a teaspoon was missing. My spouse and children, including my two children with special needs, were left waiting and upset. The manager then asked for another ₦3,000 for the supposedly missing spoon, without giving us a receipt. We'd already paid an outrageous ₦145,000 per night, so being treated with such disrespect and dishonesty was awful. Holding a family's bags over a teaspoon and then demanding more money felt like an attempt to extort us. It was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Families, especially those travelling with children with special needs, deserve compassion and respect. If your family's dignity, time, and peace of mind matter to you, stay away. There are much fairer places in Owerri.

The breakfast was badly prepared, unappetizing, and not nutritious. The rooms are also surprisingly small for the price, and don't feel like good value. On top of that, the WiFi keeps dropping and the electricity is unstable. I'm honestly disappointed. I'd hoped for a much more professional standard.

The General Manager made a real impression on me. He was approachable and genuinely caring, and seemed ready to help both guests and staff with grace and efficiency. Kindness and good service feel like part of Rento's culture. My room was lovely, and the staff were cheerful and attentive throughout. Rento also has a warm atmosphere and impressive modern facilities. I felt at home from the moment I arrived. If you're in Owerri, I'd say give it a try. It felt like a warm embrace away from home.

I was at Rento Hotel for about 50 days, and the service stayed top notch the whole time. The general manager was professional and thoughtful, regularly checking that I was getting good service and having a good experience. The food was great and reasonably priced, and the laundry was always done on time. Rento's management really understands hospitality. I'd always recommend it to anyone staying in Owerri.

The staff were friendly and respectful, and the Manager was very professional. The apartments were clean, with neat bedding, and the setting had a lovely, peaceful feel. Security was excellent too. Even the who's who in the land come here. I commend Rento Hotel And Suites management and hope they keep up the good work. Prof. Chukwuemeka
