The price is fair, and the location makes it easy to get around the city depending on where your friends are. Security was good, and the cleaning team and other staff were warm and helpful, so it still felt like a family stay. But the kitchen staff could spoil your day, so I’d avoid dealing with them if possible. The gym and pool are in poor shape, and the TV channels don’t even include YouTube. Also, couples should know the free breakfast covers just one person. It has to be eaten in the restaurant because the buffet items are limited. Nobody explained those terms until after several mistakes, and by then our mood about staying eight more nights had soured.

I really liked the gym and cozy spa, and the laundry was amazing. The food was good too, especially the breakfast buffet, one of the best I’ve had in Port Harcourt. It may not suit everyone, but it was just right for me. There was a worrying moment when a rodent got into the room. The staff found the hole it had come through and sealed it with concrete cement. Aside from that incident, I had a good stay, and the staff were attentive and nice.

Yesterday, between 1:50pm and 3:50pm, the security staff kept asking me for money. When I said no, they wouldn’t help me park and deliberately took their time opening the exit. I even scratched my new Lexus rx 350 there today. I hate the place.

I really enjoyed myself here. The complimentary breakfast had dishes that reminded me of what I grew up eating, and the service was impeccable. It’s a beautiful hotel in a prime location.

I’ve stayed here twice, and the service was consistent both times. It’s in a great spot and feels like good value for the money. Easily one of my favourite hotels.
