I’ve been coming to nicaragua for 22 years, and this is an easygoing place to stay. Jerry, the owner, is a great host. The pool, room AC, and hot water are a big plus for me, and there’s 24-hour security. Breakfast is included and very good, with fruit and eggs, pancakes, or both. You can walk everywhere, and Parque Central is just half a block away.

Jerry and the staff were so welcoming and attentive that Casa del Agua felt more like a friend’s home than a hotel. I stayed four nights and loved the fresh fruit at breakfast. The main square is only a short walk away, too. Had a fantastic time here, highly recommend it!

The owner seems to love this town, and he’s a very cool guy. The place is great, with the main Plaza, bars, and good restaurantes all within walking distance. Ten stars!

It was peaceful even though Casa del Agua is less than a block from Parque Central. We had a spacious, nice room, though it could use a few updates. Staff were helpful and attentive, and we enjoyed the pool and the large breakfast that came with the stay.

I stayed eight days, moved on, then came back for my last two nights in Nicaragua. I just couldn’t make myself leave sooner. The pool was lovely, and I’d have a happy hour cocktail there every afternoon and chat with Gerry. The place was clean, the hospitality was great, and it stayed quiet despite being half a block from the main parque. Great prices, too. Best part of my three-week trip.
