The pool was a highlight for us: its filtered mineral water was clean and refreshing, and there was a hammock beside it for lounging. My wife and I spent about 11 days at Casa de Oro, where the rooms were comfortable and had both air conditioning and ceiling fans. Each unit also had its own bathroom with a shower and hot water. We could walk to Granada’s Central Park area in around 10 minutes, and Lake Nicaragua was about five minutes away. The Wi-Fi worked well enough for us to stream Netflix without trouble. Everyone on staff was friendly and nice. We had a great stay and would recommend the place to anyone visiting Granada.

The breakfast was good, with eggs, rice, and toast, and I also liked the shower, towels, and pool. The room itself was clean, but only had a working fan and no air conditioning. For what it offers, it felt a bit overpriced and far away, and it wasn’t nearly as comfortable as Selina.

The pool was empty, and the rooms were dirty and smelled bad. With the manager absent, the whole stay was a disaster and we had to find somewhere else. That turned out to be the best decision, but we lost the money we’d paid. A terrible experience.
