We especially enjoyed the leafy garden, where there’s a hammock and a peaceful spot to unwind. The room was comfortable, nicely kept, and the staff were always kind and happy to help. Breakfast was good too, with fresh choices and fast service in the morning. We had a lovely stay at Hotel al Sole in León and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

The courtyard is lovely, and the room was spacious enough, though it faced inward so there wasn’t a view. The hotel is around a 15-minute walk from Leon Cathedral, and getting in through the gate made it feel safe, even if that could be a bit cumbersome. Leaving very early for my tour was difficult because I couldn’t find a staff member to open it. Aside from that, it was a fine stay.

The indoor terrace and pool were beautiful, and the service made our visit especially nice. The staff were so patient and friendly while helping us practice our very beginner Spanish. We had a lovely time at Al Sole Hotel and would definitely recommend it.

The garden was peaceful, with birds all around, and the pool was great for cooling off. We stayed a few days in Leon and really enjoyed the comfortable, well-kept rooms and lovely staff. There’s a kitchen for making food, and drinks are sold at reasonable prices. A separate fridge for guests would have been useful. It’s a little way from the centre, but you can borrow bikes and taxis are very cheap.
