Hostal Harvest House

My room is huge and clean, and the place is affordable with AC. I can’t imagine hosts who are any friendlier.

The hosts were really friendly and even helped us find a cab for our next stop. The garden was lovely to sit by in the evening, especially with someone playing saxophone nearby. Breakfast and coffee were wonderful. There’s no air conditioning, but the fan kept things comfortable.

Jorlene and Claudia were always smiling and giggling, and made the place feel so welcoming. Most of the guests were nice too. I got a really good deal for a week, and the main church is about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms around the garden were nice, with plants bringing in a pleasant breeze, and a great wardrobe to keep our things off the floor. There’s a shared kitchen and eating area, plus a welcoming living room. The internet worked well enough to work from my room.

It’s a shame, because the place is spacious, quiet, and reasonably priced for the city. But when the landlady wasn’t around, the staff were unfriendly and complained when we used the shared kitchen, even though the booking clearly said we could. They also hid the kitchen utensils and the gas stove lighter.
