I was here once in 2005 and came back in 2019. Even after all those years, the hotel is still charming, clean, and well kept, with polite staff. It’s very green and quiet, and there’s security on the premises. A beautiful guanacaste tree stands in the middle of the property, probably 100+ years old. Impressive. If you’re looking to rest at a reasonable price, this is a good place to stay.

We had a tasty breakfast, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean, and the hotel felt very secure. They even let three friends come over to swim in the pool.

The location was just right, and the place felt safe. The rooms were clean and the people were great. I'd happily stay again. 👌

The staff were kind and attentive, even though they could use more training. The breakfast was really bad, and the hotel itself is terribly old and needs a full remodel. It was far too expensive for Nicaragua, and the place in the photos isn't what you get.

The bathroom smelled like urine, and there weren't any outlets for charging our phones. Everything else was okay.
