A trendy hostel in a central spot, near the bus stop and about a 30-minute walk from the malecon. The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations, and the rooms were clean, though some fittings felt low quality. The toilet wasn’t very stable and the shower curtain was missing rings. Breakfast wasn’t great, but you could buy beers and get things like toothbrushes there. The other guests seemed cool, though we were too shy to talk to them.

Coming in after dark on a tica bus, the location is hard to beat. The dorm beds are big and comfortable, with a power supply nearby and lockers that are a decent size. There was enough airflow that it didn’t get hot at night. And the pup on site is a little peach. 💕

A comfortable, clean hostel with lots of places to lounge and relax after a long day on the ticabus. It’s about two blocks from the station, with an inexpensive 14-bed dorm for 9 usd and plenty of private rooms. I took off a star because the surrounding area feels sketchy. Be careful walking around, I saw someone get robbed.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and they had great ideas for local spots and things to do. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

We loved the hammocks and the little dog Lillie, and my daughter still talks about it. The place was clean and comfortable, in a great location, with really cool staff. Only positive vibes. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it!
