Runway Apt 108

The community felt safe, and it’s a great distance from the airport. The place was clean and accommodating. Wish I’d found it sooner.

The location was ideal for our early flight, just a two-minute drive from the airport, and the gated community felt very safe. My friend and I stayed the night before traveling. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with good AC. The host helped us arrange a taxi for $5. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re passing through Managua.

We ended up booking another night here for our return flight because we enjoyed the stay so much. Our group of two couples first stayed at Runaway Hostel in mid March, after arriving on a late flight. Being just a one-minute drive from the airport made the end of our travel day easy. The property was beautiful and clean, with modern design inside and out in the garden, and the gated community felt extremely safe and pleasant. The host was the highlight, so sweet, warm, and helpful, with wholesome grandma vibes. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling through Managua.

The staff are so sweet and friendly, and the included breakfast was tasty. Our room was clean and comfortable. It’s a quiet, safe place, close enough to walk to the airport in the daytime, and a great spot to unwind around a flight. There’s also the sweetest cat on the property :)
