Life Contains Beautiful Things

We spent three nights at LCBT and already know we’ll come back when we’re in the Netherlands. Shirley and Barry made us feel right at home. The homegrown wines are well worth trying, and breakfast was phenomenal after a good night’s sleep. There’s also a natural pool, with lounge chairs where you can relax over a glass of wine. Such a beautiful place, and thanks again for the hospitality!

The weather wasn’t great for our birthday getaway as a couple, so it was especially nice to warm up in the old-fashioned sauna with wine and snacks. Later, the owners cooked us fish since it wasn’t BBQ weather. We ate in the winter garden by an open fire and had some local bubbles. It was fantastic. Shirley and her family gave us a warm welcome at this really unique place in the Netherlands. Hope we can return :)

We visited in autumn and had a lovely time, even with the bad weather. There’s plenty of nature nearby to explore by bike, and Shirley and Ryan were amazing hosts. The place is really nice and has everything you need for a getaway in a little Dutch town. Definitely recommend this B&B :)

The lodge itself was nice, and the people were friendly when they finally came to my door. But the food was poor, maybe this is a vegan place? They also need a backup phone number. Guests shouldn’t have to stand in the parking lot with no way to reach anyone.
