The service was amazing, and the room was clean. We also had a lovely balcony, and they put out coffee in the mornings. Just be aware that this is a typical Amsterdam house, so the stairs are narrow and steep.

The tram route from the center has been diverted because of roadworks that have apparently been going on for two years, so expect at least a 30-minute walk to the center or tourist sights. That was the main downside for us. The stay itself was lovely. Check-in was great, with lots of information, and they even offered us a beer. The room was tiny but very functional, with an exceptional bathroom. I’d recommend booking one with a balcony; it’s nice to open the door for fresh air, and I imagine it’d be a bonus in summer. The stairs are very steep, but reception carried our bags up. If you ask for a lower floor when booking, they’re happy to try to accommodate you.

The rooms were spotless and well cared for, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The tram station is just a short walk away, which made getting around Amsterdam really easy. I had a wonderful time and would stay here again on my next visit.

A quiet spot within walking distance of the city center, with the 13/17 tram stop right outside. This family-run hotel also had great, friendly service. Our room was kept clean, with water and chocolates replenished every day.

Our room was terrific, with a great balcony, and it stayed peaceful even in this lively area. The cleaners were brilliant, and the tea and coffee setup was really good. Everyone on staff was so charming and helpful, and the location in a friendly neighborhood made it easy to walk to the center. We'll definitely come back.
