Amsterdam Downtown Hotel

The staff were wonderful, very polite and helpful. The hotel itself was a different story: the rooms are tiny, and the walls are so thin you can hear people breathing next door. We also found a bug in our room. I’d recommend avoiding this hotel.

The location was perfect, and the staff were as helpful as could be. I’d stay again :) The room was clean, apart from smelly bathroom drains. It could be noisy at night, but I think that just happens, and it didn’t last too long. I’d been a bit concerned after reading some reviews, but my stay was fine.

I’d give this zero stars if I could. The place seems to cater to bedbugs instead of its guests, who end up feeling like an all-you-can-eat buffet for them. I found out too late that plenty of other people had the same “unforgettable” experience. Unless you’re planning a holiday for bedbugs, keep far, far away.

The rooms were clean, the location was amazing, and the staff were really caring and helpful. There isn’t much space in the rooms, but apart from that, I had a great experience.
