The view from our room was excellent, and the location is great, but those things didn’t make up for the condition of the hotel. My friend and I had been traveling for a week, and this was easily our worst stay, despite also being the most expensive. We were on the third floor with no elevator, which alone wouldn’t have bothered us. The stained carpet on the stairs looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned since the hotel opened, and our room carpet was just as bad. The shower door was missing, the hairdryer didn’t work, and my towel had a hole in it. The staff, on the other hand, were excellent, friendly and very kind.

The bad reviews weren’t being dramatic after all. There were stains on the floor and bedding, and my towel had a large stain and was ripped. The room was warm, small and stinking, with no fresh air coming in. Disgusting. I’m never staying here again.

The customer service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. But my girlfriend and I were bitten every night by what seemed to be some kind of bed bug. Hygiene in the room was poor, and the place isn’t looked after well. It needs money invested in it.

The location is perfect for a short trip, and the staff are friendly. You get a bed and a bathroom, which is a bargain if that’s enough for you. The hotel itself is run down and dirty, though, with stained floors and walls that are cracking.

Hatem is the only reason I’d consider coming back. He treated my wife and me like royalty and was determined to sort out every problem we had. The hotel is stairs only, and he was out of breath after running things up to our room that were missing. He even tried to fix the TV, literally stripping wire and changing the coaxial cable. We ended up with a working TV and a room that felt cleaner and better. Hatem deserves a serious raise. Do your due diligence and read between the lines about this place. Our setting wasn’t ideal, but his care made a huge difference.
