The bike ride to Amsterdam central takes nearly an hour, but we thought the beautiful route made it worthwhile, and cycling is the best way to get around Amsterdam. We loved how friendly everyone was and had a really lovely stay. Breakfast changed a little each day. We always had homemade cheese, fresh milk and eggs. We stayed right beside the cows, though, so the smell could get strong and it was sometimes kind of loud. I can still recommend the place, and we’ll come back.

The breakfast was awesome, and the Wagon was very nice with lovely decor. You can get to Amsterdam in about 30 minutes on the free bike. Just remember you’re on a farm beside a cow shed.

The place was lovely, peaceful, clean and fresh, with an organic breakfast. Ineke was such a hospitable host. There are bikes available, so take the chance to explore on one.

A great base for exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding area. We would have taken the bikes if the rain had let up!

We loved staying in a Wagon about 4m from the city centre. A great find, with a fantastic breakfast brought over by the farmer’s wife.
