Atlantis Hotel Amsterdam

It felt like a safe area, and the walk to the main attractions took about 25 minutes. Amsterdam is easy to explore on foot, and I liked seeing things along the way. My room was cute, cosy, and clean. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were nice, and there were complimentary drinks at reception. I've already recommended the place to a few people.

The tram is right outside, and there are plenty of shops around. It was a great base for exploring De Pijp, with a good breakfast and a lovely vibe. The rooms are small, but that's Amsterdam. I thought it was good value, the shower was great, and the room facilities were easy to figure out. The complimentary drinks were much appreciated while travelling. Thanks for having us.

Breakfast had lots of choice and was good quality, and the coffee machine was fancy too. The hotel is cosy and within walking distance of Amsterdam's centre. Our room was nice and comfortable, with a fridge and a good coffee machine. The building is a bit old, so the sound insulation may not be perfect, but that's common in the centre of a European city. Service was great, the receptionist was very friendly, and they offered complimentary soft drinks, beer, and snacks.

I couldn't get a proper night's sleep because noise came through the walls so easily. I could hear conversations, TVs, and people moving in nearby rooms and the hallways. The shower also had no hot water for my entire stay, which was uncomfortable and inconvenient. On arrival, the room didn't seem properly cleaned: surfaces were dusty and the bathroom didn't feel hygienic. The room looked much older and less well maintained than the online photos suggested. The furnishings and general condition didn't match the booking site's presentation. For what I paid, the lack of basic comfort and upkeep made the hotel feel overpriced. My stay fell well short of what had been promised, and I wouldn't recommend it. Better cleaning, maintenance, soundproofing, and more accurate online descriptions would make a difference.
