Bob W Amsterdam Noord

We stayed two nights in Amsterdam noord with our partner and two 8-year-old children. The building and rooms were in good condition, and the facilities were satisfactory. The children’s bed was the main problem: its mattress was so thin that we could feel the frame underneath. I’d suggest checking on that with the staff before arriving.

Parking right at the hotel was handy for us since we came by car, and check-in and checkout were smooth and easy. The location made it very convenient to reach the city and other attractions. Everything was very clean, from the spotless bathroom to the rest of the hotel, and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There’s a bus stop right beside the hotel, so getting around was easy even though there isn’t much right nearby. The rooms are tidy, spacious, and really nicely decorated. The wasserette was handy, and the staff were wonderfully helpful. I’ve really enjoyed my stay at the bob w!

Clean, practical place with great staff and no frills. Just so you know, the bathroom light has a button underneath! The area feels industrial and is still coming up, though there are places around, including pllek, cafe semai, jumbo about a 10-minute walk away, and albert heijn. Staying over the river saved us about 400, so it was an easy choice. The 391 bus gets you to central station in 15 minutes. Walking to the ferry takes a bit longer, but it’s obviously more satisfying.
