We spent three months in The Residenz (Sweelinckplein 38) for work, and leaving felt genuinely sad because it had become home. Frank and his wife own and manage the property. They're kind, friendly, and helpful, and did a lot to make sure we were comfortable and settled in. We had the first-floor apartment, with a large kitchen, comfortable living room and bedroom, a pleasant indoor-outdoor area, and a quiet patio out back. It was spacious, spotless, and well placed. Cafés, restaurants, groceries, a park, chocolate shops, and tram lines 17 and 34 are just steps away. The Peace Palace, Europol, ICC, and other government buildings are a short walk, and a quick tram ride takes you to the city center. We also loved the daily visits from the friendly neighborhood cats. The one downside was sometimes hearing the upstairs neighbor's footsteps late at night. For a short or long stay in Den Haag, I highly recommend it. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was a nice introduction to Dutch breakfast. Our room had lovely furnishings, a fireplace, adjustable beds, and a great atmosphere. The street was quiet, but the city center and other main attractions were still walkable. The Peace Palace was very close, and there were good places to eat nearby. I'd definitely return to The Hague and stay here again.

We spent eight delightful nights here. The room was spacious, with a separate sitting area and dining table, a big comfortable bed, a great shower, and heated floors. Ours also had a fireplace and a lovely balcony. Frank and Petra were kind, answered all our questions, and made us feel welcome. Just off the hotel is a great street with restaurants, bakeries, a florist, a hardware store, and plenty more. The number 3 tram is a five-minute walk away and gets downtown in 15 minutes. If you're visiting Den Haag, this is where I'd stay.

The hosts were wonderful and looked after everything, and they gave us lots of ideas for places to go and things to do. Breakfast was delicious and first class, with everything we could want. The rooms were clean, spacious, and stylishly decorated. The area is calm, with restaurants, bars, and shops just around the corner. I already know where I'll stay next time I'm in den Haag.
