The Hague Teleport Hotel - Free Parking

It’s a cheap place to stay at a reasonable price, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and nicely presented, and the car park was easy to find. We booked the family suite, but the website didn’t mention that the bedroom and bathroom were up a set of very steep stairs. Since we were only there one night, we managed. The lifts also feel dated, like they could stop working at any moment.

The room works well for two people, whether sleeping or working, with good ventilation and a practical layout. Our two-person twin studio was spacious for a hostel, had a large window, a desk big enough for several monitors, and temperature control that worked well. We didn’t need the radiator in January, though you can use it if you prefer a warmer room. The kitchenette has an EU-size fridge with room for food, a kettle, and microwave, plus good-tasting tap water. Towels can be changed daily, and there’s a grocery store 20 steps from the lobby. Den Haag HS station is a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast was amazing, with eggs made to order, hot chocolate, fresh-squeezed juice, bread, and jam. There were a few annoyances that seem fixable. The kitchenette lighting is dim, there aren’t many plugs and they’re awkwardly placed, and there are no easy-to-reach outlets in the kitchenette. The shower door was missing its gasket, so keeping water in was tricky, but they fixed it promptly. The hallway smells of artificial coconut, and the dish soap and even linens are scented. Anyone sensitive to chemicals shouldn’t stay here. There are very few dishes, no cooking tools, and the flimsy bowls were annoying. The mattresses are basic foam, and the WiFi couldn’t handle evening video calls.

The hotel has a warm, inviting concept that still feels distinctive, and we especially liked the entertainment options. The whole stay came together into a memorable experience, and we’d happily return and recommend it. Service stood out from the moment we arrived. Everyone on the team was professional, genuinely friendly, and very helpful.

The family room was roomy and spread over two levels, with a great view of The Hague. We even spotted a windmill from the window. The Hague Teleport Hotel made us feel welcome right away. When I mentioned my running challenge at check-in, the friendly staff added a few extras, which I really appreciated. The lobby is a fun place, with board games, pool, foosball, and table tennis. Kids get a welcome gift and can spin a prize wheel when checking in. It’s easy to get to both the city centre and the train station, and the hotel is family-friendly. Highly recommended for a visit to The Hague.
