I've stayed here more times than I can count over the years, and I love it every time. The staff are the best, and it's a great place for a relaxing, romantic weekend. The tram is about a three-minute walk away, or you can walk through the park to Leidseplein in 15 minutes.

We got there about half an hour after reception was meant to close, but the staff kindly waited for us. A nice, upscale neighborhood, close to Vondelpark.

The place was clean and comfortable, in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. Tram lines 16 and 2 stop a two-minute walk away and get you to the city center in 15 minutes.

The hotel has some style, though it feels a bit older. Room service was good, and breakfast was acceptable.
