The host was super, kind, flexible, and attentive, and gave us tips for good places to visit. The location was perfect: 10-15 mins on foot from Central station, downtown, and the music center, with the main museum just 5 minutes away. The room was bigger than described, very clean, and comfortable. Its simple, warm, elegant decor included two plants without making the space feel crowded. There were sweets and good wine as a courtesy.

Our host Chris was brilliant when my husband became unwell. He helped us find a doctor, kept us supplied with coffee for the Nespresso machine, checked in by text, let us stay past checkout, and arranged a taxi to the station. We only spent three nights and didn't get to see much of Amsterdam, so we'll be back and look forward to returning to Canal House. The fresh, modern room had a lovely canal view with plenty to watch, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of the station. Chris also shared really useful local information and great tips for cafes and restaurants.

Christian was a great host, and the modern room was immaculate. It was compact but had everything we needed, including a small refrigerator, coffee maker, snacks, and a bottle of wine. The location was great, right by a well-connected bus stop. We stayed for four nights last week.

Cristian's home-cooked breakfast and thoughtful suggestions for places to go were a lovely way to start each day. He was an especially considerate host, and our room was stylish and impeccably clean. We'll be back!

Christian was a fantastic host and always available when we had questions. We spent three nights there and had everything we wanted. All the sights were walkable, and transport links were great when we needed them. Amazing stay, thanks!
