The room and its bathroom were clean and spacious, with big windows that let in lots of light. I stayed two nights over three days, and they cleaned the floors in both spaces on each day. I was in a 10-bed all-female room. I worried about finding the hostel after reading reviews, but Google Maps got me there without trouble. It's tucked off the main road down a gated, quiet alley, which I liked because the entrance didn't feel busy and the setting felt safer. I was also concerned about the stairs. They are steep, but I managed them with a large backpack. Reception is one floor up, and there was a sign offering luggage help. The man at the desk also asked if I needed help carrying my bags, so the stairs weren't a problem for me. My early arrival was another concern since check-in wasn't until 2pm. I asked about a locker or luggage room, but the only choice was to leave my bag unlocked at reception. There were already more than 10 bags there, and someone worked the desk around the clock. I felt okay leaving mine, and my things stayed safe, though I wouldn't generally recommend leaving luggage unlocked. The location was ideal: about a 20-minute walk from Central Station, where you can get a train to the airport or reach the main bus terminal. Major shops, plenty of restaurants and grocery stores were nearby, along with some great coffeeshops. The one drawback was that the outlets were all by the door, so I couldn't charge my phone beside my bed. I'd bring a portable charger and keep that plugged in by the outlet, then charge the phone near you overnight so it's close by and handy for an alarm. I had a really good stay at Central Station Hostel and would highly recommend it.
