The location is good, but the public parking nearby is expensive. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, though just four coffee-machine cups for three people was a bare minimum, and there were no useful breakfast supplies. The small bedrooms had comfortable beds and it was relatively quiet. We were on the fourth floor, with no lift. Communication with the off-site manager was almost completely dysfunctional. She didn’t receive my SMS reply, called at 10:30 pm, during Saturday dinner, and on Sunday morning. The web form didn’t work, my email wasn’t read, and the contact phone went to voicemail. On arrival, a disheveled woman seemed unprepared to show us the apartment. With 27°C outside, she explained how to use the heating and pointed out the microwave, but didn’t mention waste disposal or that there were no hotel services beyond daily kitchen-bin pickup and toilet-roll replenishment. There was no cleaning during our eight days, including the bathroom used by three people. The rental towels had seen better days; the windows were dirty and the mirrors had dusty old wipe marks. The price was high, with Europe’s highest tourist tax of 12.5% on the room charge. Yet there was no IBAN information for paying it, just two reminders a day that it was still outstanding.

The Vermeer apartment was spacious and had everything we could have wanted. We cooked often, did laundry and made full use of the place. The beds were comfortable, the towels soft, and the neighborhood so quiet that nothing kept us up. Its location was perfect: we walked to the city centre, museums and park in just a few minutes, and it really felt like living in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff were super friendly and answered all our questions. We loved our stay and had a really enjoyable holiday.

We stayed in the cute, cozy Frans Hals apartment and loved our visit. Check-in was simple and the location was perfect. The place had everything we needed, and I’d happily come back and recommend it. A few small things didn’t put us off booking again: the bed was small, and the bathroom sink was so tiny it made a mess. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, but after we asked, replacements arrived that same day.

My daughter and I spent a week in August 2025 at the Van Gogh apartment. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet, with a washing machine that we appreciated. We barely used the kitchen or garden patio. Apartment manager Christel was helpful and gave us good information about what was happening in Amsterdam during our visit. The place was well located for museum visits, just a ten-minute walk from Museumplein. We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful eight-night stay in the beautiful two-bedroom Johannes Vermeer apartment. The area felt very safe, and shops, restaurants and activities were all close by. There’s a Starbucks about a six-minute walk away and a full grocery store under ten minutes away. We had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was extremely quiet. I loved the high ceilings and huge living-room windows overlooking the canal, which open. We knew there would be stairs if we weren’t on the ground floor. One bedroom was on the main floor, and the smaller second bedroom was upstairs. The stairs were steep and narrow but didn’t cause us trouble. Christal met us at the apartment, showed us around and handed over the keys. She was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely stay with Dutch Masters again on our next Amsterdam visit. Thank you, Dutch Masters and Amsterdam, for a beautiful week.
