Eden Studios and Apartments

The hotel feels tucked into a quieter part of the city, yet Leidseplein and Vondelpark are only a short walk away. I spent time in the stylish lounge and went out to explore the canals, and the service was consistently warm and professional. Inside, modern design and cozy touches give the place a refined, posh feel. A particularly useful feature is the connection to Hotel XYZ, which lets guests use a wider range of amenities and spaces without going outside. It feels like being part of a larger hospitality hub. For a well-connected, high-end base in Amsterdam, I’d recommend it highly.

We stayed three nights with my 14-year-old daughter, and the apartment hotel room suited us perfectly. There was loads of space, a great kitchen, and it was lovely having our bedroom upstairs. The decor was nice and the room was very clean. Trams stop right outside, and the location is right in the centre of Amsterdam. I’d recommend it for families.

The main hotel is clean and looks new, but apartments 823 and 821 are a different story. They’re old and smelly, and our apartment had a noticeable stale smoke odor. The carpet looked worn and unclean. Housekeeping is only available if you ask, though there’s no information telling you that, which made the place feel even less clean. The windows don’t block the city noise, so sleeping was difficult. The apartment building stairs are extremely steep, a real challenge with joint problems or large bags. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby snack corner was handy with good-quality items. The location is excellent for walking around. If you book, I’d choose a room in the hotel rather than an apartment. The apartments don’t feel worth the price, and their quality doesn’t match the main hotel.

Even though I was there only a short time, I had a very good stay at Leonardo Eden. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and kept in excellent condition, with the amenities I needed. The place felt both welcoming and exclusive. Staff were attentive and professional from arrival through checkout, and the concierge team were especially kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located in Amsterdam and felt like excellent value. I’d recommend Leonardo Eden hotel for a high-quality stay, whatever brings you to the city.
