The room had lovely original ceiling beams, a charming little roof window, an amazing shower, and one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. The building has a personal feel, like a high-standard boutique hotel rather than a huge, impersonal one. From the moment I arrived at Hotel Frank Since 1666, the service was impeccable. The reception team were thoughtful and polite, and even got us checked in early, which was a great start to the trip. The location is perfect for exploring, and the whole stay felt like a dream. Huge thanks to the team for making it memorable. We’ll be back!

I stayed in room 103, overlooking the canal, while in Amsterdam for a conference. The family running Hotel Frank were so friendly and helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about the stay. If boutique hotels are your thing, you must stay here. Thanks, guys, it was a super stay. I’ll be back.

Our corner room on the first floor looked out over the canal and the square, such a lovely view to wake up to every morning. It was spotless, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Massimo and the Hotel Frank team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, always ready with friendly advice and tips. We loved our stay.

We were in basement room 002, with a café directly above. Chairs scraping across the floor kept us awake through the night, right up until 2.30am. It was a real shame because the location was excellent for getting around, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly. If you book a basement room, I’d ask for one away from the café.

The building is very old, but its renovations feel warm and appealing. Our room was unique and lovely, with a canal view. The owners keep watch by the door 24/7 and are very welcoming. Everything is within walking distance, so the location is perfect. It can get noisy at night with the windows open, though they’re soundproof when closed. There’s AC, but the room was still a little warm in early September.
