The only reason I paid for an upgrade was that the original room felt too inaccessible to use safely. I had Room 44 on the fourth floor, reached by narrow, extremely steep stairs that felt hazardous. I moved to a room with a private bathroom and fewer stairs so I could have a safe, comfortable stay, and had to pay extra for it. I was disappointed to have to pay to fix a problem with the original room, which didn't match the quality promised in the online listing. The breakfast was also very minimal and didn't meet basic expectations for the price. I'm disappointed with how far the stay fell below what was advertised, despite trying to make the best of it. I'd like a refund for the upgrade fee as a fair resolution, and look forward to a prompt response.

The team were nice and helpful, and the location is good. But the rooms and stairways are really small, there's no guest elevator, and the building and rooms are old and poorly maintained. They also require a €100 deposit on your card. I wouldn't stay again.

It's a quiet hotel in a good location near the museums, with public transport close by. The downside is the staircases, which are very narrow and steep. There are no elevators because the houses are old.

Our second-floor room was simple, clean and comfortable, with a great shower and TV. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. I'd happily stay again.

Thanks to everyone on the staff, especially Peter, for being so helpful and kind during my stay. I first had the small single room with its own shower, which was perfect for me. Later I stayed in a double room with a shared bedroom, and that was really good too. Thanks, guys!
