A lovely spot for a romantic getaway, peaceful and just the right distance from everything. The room is beautifully furnished, and having a smoking terrace was a great extra. The host is welcoming and attentive while still respecting your privacy. One thing to know: reaching the room means climbing stairs, so it takes a reasonable level of fitness and may not suit anyone with mobility issues. I’d happily come back.

We had a great stay, with outstanding service from a very friendly owner. Our top-floor room was nicely decorated, had a pleasant feel, and looked out over a quiet, lovely garden. The area is beautiful and full of charm, and the location in Amsterdam is top. We went to the nearby coffee place Screaming Beans for breakfast.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and the room and bathroom were both lovely. The bed was the best we’ve ever slept in. There are stairs, but walking through such a beautiful building made them a pleasure rather than a problem. Definitely worth it.

A quiet, beautiful, very clean place in a top location. The hosts were lovely, and the steps weren’t too bad. Highly recommend it.

The owner was friendly and gave us lots of details about the room and the neighborhood. You’re very close to Amsterdam central, with a huge range of pubs, steak houses, restaurants, and fast food right nearby. Head out after dark for night photos, they look amazing!
