The room was clean and comfortable, and my friend and I really enjoyed staying here. Getting in from the airport was easy and involved very little walking, which helped with our luggage. It’s a pleasant walk to the centre and a nice way to see local life. Public transport stops around 11, so being able to walk back means you can stay out later without paying so much to stay in the centre.

The room and bathroom were clean and looked like the photos, and we had towels. The bathroom is shared between, I think, four rooms, and toiletries aren’t provided. There’s no reception, and check-in is around 2pm. Sam kindly let us check out very late, at about 8pm. The stairs are narrow and steep, so bulky, heavy luggage would be difficult. We had a cozy, quiet, comfortable stay.

We arrived to find Sam half an hour late. The room was clearly different from what we’d seen online, with no balcony and a shared bathroom instead of our own. When we raised this, Sam was very unfriendly and kicked us out of the hotel. As we stood outside looking for somewhere else to stay, he came over, said it was his property, and began insulting us. After years of travelling, I’ve never had such a terrible host. Stay away from Sam!

For the price, it’s a really convenient choice. The room has the basic furnishings you’d expect in a traditional hotel room.

The place was very clean and had everything needed for a nice stay. Check-in was the one problem: we couldn’t get into the building, even after calling for nearly 30 minutes.
