The Manor is situated in a unique building in Amsterdam-Oost, the former Burgerziekenhuis. A beautiful, historic building where history is still alive and kicking. In 2011, the premises were completely remodelled into a hip hotel with luxury rooms, a trendy lounge and beautiful meeting rooms. Our hotel is located in Amsterdam-Oost, one of the most up-and-coming neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. The perfect location for those who want to stay overnight during a weekend getaway to our unique capital.

A good hotel, conveniently close to the city centre by tram or on foot. The recently refurbished room had enough space for two adults and two kids. Service could be better, as we had to ask twice for things we needed, like towels.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the room was spacious and immaculate, with a big comfortable bed and a large shower. We were close to everything we needed, and our longest trip was only 15 minutes by train. The coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. We’d definitely recommend it for an Amsterdam trip and will be back. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

We had such a lovely time in this majestic building. The staff gave us a warm welcome, and the hotel was lovely overall. Our room was very large and airy, with comfortable beds. Tea, coffee, towels, and toiletries were plentiful, and they restocked the tea and coffee when we asked.

The bar and restaurant were closed for renovation, which we only found out when we arrived. There was also construction work, with drilling over our room and a large skip outside the hotel entrance near our room. We were charged €90 in city taxes. We arrived on Saturday 28/2/26 at 2.40pm, but although check-in was from 3pm, our rooms weren’t ready until 4.30pm. I’d paid extra for deluxe rooms with king beds as a present for my son, but we were given a basic room with single beds. I wasn’t happy about that. I’ve contacted Love Holidays and plan to post a review on TripAdvisor sites with photos to support it. Kind regards, Susan Moore

We had a great time at the manor. There are lots of amenities nearby, and the tram stop is right outside, though we usually walked into Amsterdam. It’s a pleasant 40-50 minute walk with parks and sights along the way. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a great bathroom with a large bath and plenty of hot water. Breakfast had what we needed to start the day, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. A 12 o’clock checkout made our last morning very relaxing. Thanks 🙏
