Our six-night stay felt like being at home, and we wished the trip hadn’t ended so soon. There were four of us, two couples, and we found the place both luxurious and relaxing. The location was fabulous, and the hosts were exceptionally warm and made the BnB so inviting. They welcomed us generously, helped arrange excursions and activities, and checked in during our stay. Whenever we had questions, they were quick to respond. If you want a comfortable home where you can relax and experience Amsterdam’s culture, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough, and we’d definitely stay with them again if we can. I’d give it 100 stars if I could.

We chose Amsterdam for our fifth anniversary and spent eight days here in August. After researching all the high-end hotels, we picked The Place 2 BnB, and we were extremely happy with that choice. It surpasses any five-star hotel, period. Bob and Menno are wonderful, friendly hosts who made us feel welcome throughout. They were available to help with anything we needed, including an amazing private canal tour for our anniversary, restaurant recommendations, bike rentals, transport, directions, and suggestions for unique city sites. The place itself is beyond five stars. The website photos show what you’ll find, though it’s even lovelier in person. There’s impeccable attention to detail, and a champagne toast on arrival made us feel welcome right away. The canal views are beautiful, and most things we wanted to see or do were within walking distance. It’s a true gem if you want to feel part of Amsterdam. We’ll stay at The Place 2 BnB next time without hesitation. Cheers to Bob and Menno for an anniversary trip we’ll cherish forever. Sam and Ken

The owners are one of a kind, some of the nicest people I’ve met in years, and we’ll be back soon. The house is among the most idyllic places I’ve stayed in Amsterdam: it’s historic but modern, with all the historical features kept intact. The view from the window over the canals is A++++, it couldn’t get better. It’s close to everything you could want in Amsterdam.

I could have watched the view from the lounge all day. The apartment has great, high-end facilities and is in a great city location. The hosts were amazing, available with advice and attentive to making sure the apartment was exactly what we needed.
