Two Rooms in City Centre

Do not stay here. We ended up booking a hotel because this was the worst experience of our lives and we weren’t going to stay. The stairs were horrible, far worse than we imagined from the warning, and we couldn’t even get our cases up. The lounge was dirty, with something splattered all over the walls. The swings shown in the pictures were broken and wonky, and the whole place stank and felt like a disaster. There were also notes saying, "dont open the door to anyone could be the goverment." For four young English girls staying there, that felt really scary and unsafe. Absolute con.

We never saw the host during our weekend. They were discreet and spent most of their time in a room on a mezzanine, separate from the shared areas. The apartment was clean, very well located, and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The downsides were the low water pressure in the shower and a slight smell in the bathroom, though neither spoiled our stay. It’s a room in a private home, but that wasn’t clearly stated on Booking.com or on B&B Manager, the agency’s website.

The kitchen-dining area is used by the owner, and it isn't equipped well enough for five people to share. There was also a mouse in the common areas that sometimes made its way into the bedrooms. A real disaster, and none of this was mentioned beforehand.

The landlady uses the rooms too, and the kitchen equipment was poor.
