Voyagers Hotel Amsterdam

The coffee shop downstairs has a great menu of old school favorites, though smoking is only allowed outside. The hotel itself is just a five minute walk from central station, and our newly refurbished room was exactly what we needed, with access to a shared balcony. Staff were top notch, friendly and helpful, and gave us a free drink both on arrival and when we left. We stayed one night during the Amsterdam Sail festival and it was our first time here, but definitely not our last. Just keep in mind the steep stairs to the bedrooms make it inaccessible for disabled people.

The train station is so close that getting around the city, or even heading abroad, is easy, and there are lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. There’s also a top notch coffeehouse downstairs at the front, which was handy. My girlfriend and I stayed on the top floor for vacation and were charmed right away. It’s cozy and romantic, very clean, with lovely views and a nice balcony. The location is hard to beat. Couldn’t recommend it more, A++.

We found this place at the last minute and were glad they could fit us in for two nights. Room 4 was recently remodeled, super clean, and had a shared balcony, handy if you want to use the coffee shop downstairs. The window was great for people watching. Right across from central station, it’s within walking distance of bars, restaurants, the red light district, mushroom shops, canals, and stores. The stairs are steep, but it was worth it for us. Just don’t expect a closet, elevator, or hotel style room service.

The dark haired older man working in the coffee shop was rude. He shouldn’t be dealing with customers until he learns how to provide appropriate service.
