WOW Hostel Amsterdam

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. I stayed in a female dorm and liked the spacious room and its great view over town. There was a bathroom in each room. The key kept demagnetizing, so I had to go back to reception often. Public transport wasn't right nearby, but there were two stops within about a 10-minute walk, maybe less.

The most annoying part was the bathroom light sensor. The room was clean, but the colors were harsh to look at. It was meant to be artistic, yet everything in the room was the same color. I had the yellow room and can't imagine staying in the red one. Breakfast was less than mediocre and could definitely have been better.

It was very cheap and worked out fine as a place to sleep at short notice. The rooms were clean and spacious, and from the fourth floor there was a nice view over the highway. The breakfast was very basic, just cheese, bread, ham, and cornflakes. I was hoping for eggs. The toilet was outside the room, so you had to take your keys with you to use the toilet or bathroom. Apart from that, everything was fine.

Breakfast was a bit dull, but I enjoyed my stay. The hostel is quite far from the center, which explains the rate. The rooms were clean, colorful, and nicely designed, with a light and an electrical socket at every bed. The bed wasn't very shaky, either. The staff were cool.
