We’ve stayed here quite a few times and love the fantastic location, but this visit was disappointing. After the site had been closed for a while, I didn’t expect two of the three sanitary blocks to be out of order. The one that was open had hot showers, but the showers and toilets weren’t cleaned very well. Our pitch was large and fully serviced, but, like some other pitches, it had clearly been used long term before. There was just bare mud where grass should have been, made worse by the heavy rain. Hopefully this was a one-off, as we’re coming back in May.

The mattresses were awful, slanted on a pretty steep incline. Worst bed I’ve ever laid on. Do NOT book a house here. I had to make my own bed, lol, what a nice service. And the bedding they provided was WAY too large, so it shifts around while you sleep. Dreadful. You also can’t park your car by your home after 22:00. Weird rules.

The site has great facilities and is great for families. The showers could be improved, though. The temperature is fixed and warm, with no adjustment, so after 36 degrees while we were there, a cold shower would have been very welcome. Better pressure would help too.

There’s a bus stop right outside, with regular services to Maastricht and Valkenburg. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The pitches are a good size and each has water and electricity. Facilities were clean, and the dog shower was useful!

The location is great for visiting Maastricht and Valkenburg, and the houses are modern, clean and well equipped. Reception staff were lovely. There isn’t much to do at the park, at least in winter. The booking process was difficult and stressful. Even though we’d already paid in full on Booking, we still had to fill in forms and make extra payments by bank transfer before arrival.
