Hotel Rasch

We really liked how quiet it was, even though the beach was less than three minutes away. The rooms were top-notch and breakfast was excellent. It's a great area to explore by bike, and public transport is both affordable and excellent. Dogs are allowed as well.

The location was good, near the beach, sea, aquarium, and restaurants, and the owners were friendly. There's private parking, and you can charge an electric car on site. The place felt rather dated, though. We found the beds too soft, and there weren't many towels, food, cutlery, or dishes. Guests have to make the beds themselves, and it's noisy. There was no cleaning during our stay. You can clean the room yourself when you leave, but it wasn't really clean, and a proper clean every so often, including under the beds and dusting, would help. Given the room size, we felt it was too expensive if you don't want to clean it yourself before departure.

The hosts were so nice, and the hotel is in a great spot for a holiday with dogs. The kitchen could use a few more things, though. We brought our own sharp knives, and there were no deep plates.

We had a spacious top-floor apartment, with two bedrooms and double beds that could also be made up as singles. The large kitchen had both a dining area and a sitting space with a TV, and we enjoyed the veranda too. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful, and even lent us their bike.
