A very affordable option for short trips, including visits to the nearby convention centre. The hotel is peaceful, and the blackout curtain is excellent. The room has a bed, bathroom, small closet and desk. The mattress seemed a little old and the pillows were on the small side, but it was otherwise a good place to sleep. The bathroom air vent is quite noisy, and the quiet policy seems to be enforced less at night than during the day. Reception staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. The reception is actually in the hotel next door, just a few metres away, and this is clearly explained on the front door. There’s no lift, so you have to use the stairs for the upper floors. I’d consider staying again if I’m in the area.

I’ve had a surprisingly good time at Premiere Classe in Breda, enough to come back twice, in December 2025 and February 2026. The staff at Premiere Classe and the attached Campanile Hotel were lovely. They joked around with each other, but were quick to help guests, and I never felt like I was a bother or had to wait for help. In February I needed to keep extending my stay because of my housing situation, and they helped me sort it out each time. They also arranged a first floor room on both visits because I had a lot of luggage. Rooms can book up quickly depending on the season, so if you need the first floor for access, call ahead. There’s no lift. The rooms were cleaner than I expected from an older budget hotel. The towels, sheets, floors and bathroom were all clean, and they keep the windows open to air the building out. I stayed three or more days on both visits, and reception and housekeeping asked daily if I wanted the room cleaned or needed anything. I could pick the cleaning days, and they did a good job even with my things around. For about 18 Euro, breakfast includes hot items like eggs, bacon and toast, as well as cereal, yogurt, fruit, meat and cheese. I didn’t eat there every morning, but the breakfasts I had were a great start to the day. The showers were better than expected, with strong pressure and very hot water, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I have sleep apnea and PTSD nightmares, and usually struggle to sleep in hotels, but I slept really well here. I had to find a hotel in February after leaving an abusive situation where I’d been harmed and had to rush out of my home. I’m so glad I chose Premiere Classe. The staff made an awful time feel a little lighter. I can’t say enough kind things about my stay. The location isn’t ideal, but there’s a bus stop close by to get around, and having a car makes it easy. The rooms are small, though there’s enough space for one to three people, and the showers are nice. Staff are friendly and helpful, and housekeeping is helpful too. I didn’t have breakfast every day, but for the price the food and both stays were a pleasant surprise. The attached photos show my room as I was checking out, so the bed isn’t made. I wanted to share real guest photos of the room and bathroom.

Truly disappointing, and I don’t recommend staying here. I’ve never encountered staff this rude in my life. The building is split into two sections, one for Dutch people and one for foreigners, which reminded me of apartheid. During my five days there, they came once to clean, but didn’t change my bed linens. I keep my space tidy, so I suppose they looked around and left. The bar connects to reception, where the reception staff were constantly joking and flirting with other staff members.

The room was small but manageable, and the sheets were clean. There was a slightly old smell, though, and I noticed cobwebs and a dead cockroach. I stayed three nights and it was okay. Free parking.

They asked for a €100 deposit paid with a physical credit card, either Visa or MasterCard, despite the room having only basic amenities. For that price, I expected better: the room was just 12 m², and the area under the bed and the bathroom weren't clean enough for a hotel.
