Aparthotel Bos en Duin Texel

We were three people in a room meant for four, and it cost too much for what we got. At the table, one person had to sit behind a beam, and another beam in the bedroom got in the way and caused a head injury. The toilet was in a tiny bathroom. I won’t stay here again.

The apartments are spacious, modern, and clean, and the location is great. It’s only a few minutes by bike to the beach and dunes, and nights are so quiet you can see the stars when the clouds allow. The Sunday brunch was delicious and highly recommended, though it isn’t included in the price. A wonderful place to stay on Texel.

It’s easy to choose a room for particular needs, such as wheelchair access, pets, a kitchen, or two bedrooms, and you can book the specific room through the hotel’s website. The hotel has two wings: Building B looks over the fields, while Building A faces the national park. The setting is lovely and green, with hardly any buildings around. The national park is right beside it, the view tower is a three-minute walk away, and the beach at Strand Pavilion is 2.4 km away.

The place is tidy, well kept, quiet, and in a good location. My mattress sagged, so I would’ve given five stars otherwise. The price also felt too high to expect tenants to help clean the apartment, like stripping the beds and taking out the trash.
