The chef clearly put a lot of thought into the dishes, but many ended up tasting mostly of turmeric, curry or general spice, with the other flavours getting lost. We also waited a long time for the food. We arrived at 8 and were more or less the last people in the restaurant when we left around 10 pm. It took quite a while for someone to come to our table, even to take our drink order. We liked the experience, but these little things kept it from full stars.

Really friendly staff who know their stuff, and a great rooftop atmosphere. The alcohol-free cocktails were great too. Some of the best Asian food I’ve had in a long while, aromatic and nicely balanced.

Lovely sunny spot by the river for drinks. One of the waiters kindly found chairs for my wife and our two-year-old son, and helped me carry the drinks.
