We planned this vacation carefully and booked the house well in advance, but when we arrived, it didn’t match the description. We contacted the administration right away to cancel, and they refused. We spent the first day driving around to shops for basic household items just to make the place comfortable enough. Then, after checkout, we were charged an extra cleaning fee, which I thought would normally be included with hotel services. We lost time, money and peace of mind, and the vacation fell far short of what we expected. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to avoid wasting money and time or spoiling your mood.

The flat was clean and very nice, and the price was reasonable. We were staying in a unit for five people, with three single beds and a bed that was meant to be a queen but was actually two singles pushed together. The welcome bag had one roll of toilet paper and kitchen cleaning supplies. There were no towels or bath mats, and we hadn’t realised they weren’t included until we arrived. By then, there weren’t any towels available for our whole five-day stay. Bring your own or make sure you rent them. I’d like the website to be clearer about towels, bath mats, toilet paper and tissues, so guests can prepare. All the instructions were in Dutch, and we spent quite a while translating them to work out how things operated. It would also help to update the information on ordering prepared meals or groceries and on local taxis or Uber. The restaurant on site didn’t open until 4 or 5 p.m. each day. Local drivers often hadn’t heard of the property and got lost, and the location made it hard for them to get a GPS signal on their phones. That caused some hassle. I would stay at Bospark again, but I’d come better prepared for comfort and getting around. Thank you, Bospark!

The staff were really friendly, and the service was amazing. The main gate closes after midnight, but you can call and they’ll open it for you. That was good service too. As an Indian living in Germany, I found the stay and the Dutch people very friendly. The beds could be improved, though. They weren’t good quality and felt like they were meant for children.

The resort’s separate apartments are beautiful, and I’d absolutely recommend it and visit again. Getting into town or running errands for food and groceries was a bit tough for us as non-Dutch speakers, because of the location. One Uber driver got completely lost. The resort does rent e-bikes, though. Next time, we’d plan our transportation better.
