Having your own key makes this B&B feel relaxed and homely, with plenty of freedom. It's one of the few independent places like this still in Egmond ann Zee, and Michel is a genuinely friendly host who is always keen to help. The healthy, delicious breakfast is a lovely way to start a day in this coastal village, and the beaches nearby make the stay even better.

Michel and Selma are such lovely hosts. You can tell they really care about their guests, and we can't wait to return to Villa La Vida. The Flamingo Room was beautiful and really comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight too, with lots of variety and everything tasting so good each time.

The daily breakfast Selma brought to our room was varied and delicious, and we couldn't tell it was vegan from the taste. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and our room was spotless, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. Selma and Michel were always around to help and had great advice. They're a lovely couple, and their two dogs are sweet too. It's a cosy, charming place in a good location, full of thoughtful little details and a lot of happiness. You can feel the love they've put into creating this little paradise. Thanks to both of them for an unforgettable stay. I hope we meet again.

The people are even better than the amazing breakfast, and I already know I'll be back soon. From bed I could see and hear seabirds, and the ocean was just a five minute walk away. My room felt cosy and had everything I needed. With a bike, Alkmaar, Castricum, and Bergen Aan Zee were easy to reach. I loooove this place and its Egmond Aan Zee vibes. 🧡😊
