Authentic Stays - 6p-apartment

The bus and train connections are good, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. The apartment has all the facilities we needed. The steep stairs are the main drawback, especially when carrying heavy luggage, so you need to be careful. That may be an issue with the building rather than this apartment specifically.

The apartment was roomy and comfortable enough for six, with nice decor and a pleasant feel. The hosts were friendly, and communication and service were great. The kitchen supplies were sparse, just one plate and glass per person. The oven didn’t work very well, and the fridge felt small for six people. You can hear trains constantly from the station across the way, and the thin walls let noise through from inside the apartment and neighboring units.

Eijsden is a peaceful village along the Meuse River, and the train station is right across the street, handy for trips to Maastricht or elsewhere. Henk was welcoming and available whenever needed, and the apartment was spotless, practical, and functional. A good place to keep in mind!

The living room is roomy and comfortable for six, and the kitchen is clean, well equipped, and stocked with what you need. There’s a large modern bathroom with a tub and walk-in shower, plus a separate second shower. The bunk-bed room is a bit tight for two adults, though it’s just right for two children. The whole house was very clean, with plenty of freshly washed towels, sheets, and pillows in every room. The code door lock made check-in easy without a key. Everything worked, and it was good value. We’d definitely recommend it.
