Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Broeierd

The staff were absolutely great, so friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and good quality. Vegans don't get much choice, especially at breakfast, where the options were very meagre. We rented bikes, which were good, but they only had E-bikes. Our split-level room was clean with good beds and a nice choice of pillows, though it looked a little careworn. I missed having a footstool in the sitting room. The location wasn't ideal, with highway noise and lots of noise from the University campus during introduction week. There isn't much they can do about that.

I enjoyed my stay very much. This place is highly recommendable. Thank you.

The only thing I liked was the parking lot. Honestly, I might rather sleep in the car than in this hotel. The room smelled bad, like it hadn't been aired out in years, and there were spiders and webs everywhere. No fridge meant no cold water either. The rooms are old and weren't clean, even though the staff were kind and the service was okay. Based on the reviews, I expected the opposite. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my archenemy. If you want to sleep without spiders while staying in Enschede, avoid it.

We only had dinner. The food was fine, though a bit overpriced for what was served.
