Free parking was a real plus, and there’s a nearby bus into Maastricht city center. It’s a handy base for exploring Maastricht, with everything you need provided. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and cat lovers might enjoy Lola the cat, who’ll answer your questions!

I appreciated having plenty of privacy here. The lack of a mixer tap and having to shower in the bath weren’t very comfortable, though. With no breakfast included, it felt more like a holiday home than a B&B, and I didn’t think the price matched what was offered.

We didn’t get breakfast, so calling this a B&B didn’t seem right to me. In the evening, we were having a normal conversation when the lady got angry and shouted upstairs at us to keep our voices down. I wouldn’t recommend it, even for the price.

We only wanted to book a single night, but apparently that wasn’t possible. When the door opened, Joke said, “I thought you were Jehovah’s Witnesses!” Then she said, “Do you know how much ironing I have for one night!” That’s what Joke said.
