The operators were really nice, and Groningen is only a few minutes away by bus. The stop is just a few metres from the campsite. The site itself was lovely, clean and peaceful, and the toilet block was modern and clean too.

We only stayed one night because of other travel plans, but we'll definitely return for a longer visit. The camp site is cosy, right beside a small lake, and the neighbourhood is peaceful and picturesque. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and the sanitary facilities were as expected. A big plus was being able to park the car beside our tent.

There's a cosy lake next to the site where you can swim. The staff are helpful and friendly, and showers are free.

We visited off season, and the place was quiet and seemed abandoned. They let us use the first hut, which was very basic: no kitchen, no bed sheets and no toilet inside. On the other hand, it's a lovely spot with plenty of grass and trees, and a nice lake in the middle.

Our first time there, and it was a great day. Swimming was lovely, it wasn't too crowded or noisy, the chips were tasty and the prices perfectly reasonable. The staff were friendly and smiling. Dank u wel, we'll be back!
