The rooms are clean, and there’s a shared kitchen and bathrooms. The hosts are great, and it’s a really nice place.

Our room at the back was really quiet, even though the B&B is in an old residential neighborhood. The hostess was kind and attentive, and the instructions made it easy to come and go at our own pace. The beds were comfortable, and there was a nice sitting area. Everything was very clean, including the modern outside bathroom, which we had to ourselves during our stay. You can prepare your own breakfast or ask the hostess for one. The stairs are narrow and quite steep, but there’s a sturdy handrail.

We came to Kerkrade for a weekend to see ‘the happiness of Limburg’, which was a fantastic performance, and stayed at this B&B. The owner was very friendly and had good suggestions for somewhere to eat just across the border. The breakfast was great, and everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was luxurious. Our room was practical, though a little sparsely decorated. The area around the house feels a bit bleak, but the B&B itself was fine.
