Gastenboerderij De Ziel

We came across B&B De Ziel in the countryside, and it’s an idyllic spot. The rustic room had a super bed, and breakfast in the morning was fantastic, with a view of the beautiful bocage landscape. We’ll definitely return!

The hosts really put effort into making guests feel welcome, and the extensive breakfast they provide is a lovely start to the day, with fresh eggs from their own chickens and homemade jams. The converted barn is beautiful and fully equipped, with a shared kitchen and breakfast room overlooking the view. Wi-Fi is excellent. There’s no TV, which some people may like and others may not. Outside, the yard has chickens, horses, dogs, and hobby pigs, and the guest accommodation borders a large garden with several places to sit. The location is almost perfect, among fields and meadows at the edge of a forest, with the Regge and Schipbeek streams just a few minutes away on foot.

The owners spoiled us with treats and fruit, and there was plenty of room for our five grandchildren and their whole family to enjoy themselves. It’s a fantastic place to unwind, with lots to do nearby too. Highly recommended!

A top spot surrounded by nature, with a cozy, warm feel. The attention to detail really shows, from the lovely beds and great towels to the fantastic breakfast. This B&B is fantastic, with no expense spared.
