The stairs are narrow, so keep that in mind. With luggage, the walk from the train station felt a bit long. I took the bus back, and I’d recommend it both ways: the stop near the hotel is a three-minute walk, then it’s about a seven-minute ride to the station. For public transport in the Netherlands, you’ll need a bank card loaded on Apple or Google Wallet. There’s a nice little HE grocery right across from that bus stop. My room was small but well set up, in one of the courtyard buildings. It was a lovely little place, comfortable, with a kettle and coffee machine. The shower was about as close to the bed as it could possibly be.

The central location added a lot to our stay. Our room was fully equipped, air-conditioned, clean and tidy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were kind, friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. They came in during our stay to clean and refresh everything we needed. We were very satisfied and can definitely recommend it. Heel erg bedankt, Martin en Lili. We’ll be back soon!

The location was excellent, but the rooms didn’t feel worth the price. There was a constant sound, like a water pump or something, and paint was coming off the bathroom wall. The bathroom’s glass wall might feel romantic for a couple, but it’s awkward with a parent and child or two friends. Getting dressed or washing while naked in front of them isn’t ideal.

The courtyard was lovely, the rooms were clean, and the service was very pleasant. It’s dog friendly too. The downside was the local Q park car park, which came to around €40 for one night.

The room was clean and tidy, though there were a couple of maintenance problems that really should have been sorted out long ago. I’d stay again because the hotel is affordable and right in the middle of the city. The location was just perfect.
