The room faced the courtyard, so the lack of sound insulation wasn’t too much of a problem. The furniture could have been better, but the price matched the quality. Cleaning was done properly, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was great, just a five-minute walk to the city center, and the staff were friendly. The room was nice, but the bathroom had poor ventilation, so odors lingered. There weren’t enough coat hangers, nowhere in the shower to put shampoo, and no hooks or hangers for clean clothes. We ended up having breakfast at the hotel on our last morning because all the supermarkets were closed until 10. It was very mediocre and cost 43 euros for two people, which left us feeling robbed. There was no one at reception that morning, so we didn’t know the price until checkout.

The rooms are very large and spacious, the breakfast is excellent, and the hotel is to a very high standard. Parking nearby is crowded, but manageable. The staff are very helpful. There was a young man working there with shaggy black hair, I think his name was Murad or something similar, though I can’t remember exactly. He was very kind, cheerful, and did his best to please the guests. I’m impressed by the place, it was well worth the money, and I’d be very happy to stay again.

My room was upstairs at the back, so it stayed really quiet and was very comfortable. The hotel is spread across three converted houses, and you need your room key to get into the two without reception. Some rooms look straight onto the street. The rooms are good quality, though the shower struggled a bit at busy times. Housekeeping was good, and the location worked really well for the city centre and Muziekgieterij when I was in Maastricht for a concert.
