We stayed three nights and found the beds and rooms comfy, with a really nice decor and vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and everything went smoothly and pleasantly. Free coffee and water bottle machines were available 27/7. Breakfast was nice, the location amazing, and the price-quality was really good.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the old bathtubs in the spacious rooms are a real treat. The owner has turned a 17th century home into a hotel with care and taste, keeping much of the historic monument intact. The suitcase is a dominant feature, and breakfast comes preselected, with eggs, two pieces of bread and a croissant. It feels like a proper Maastricht chic experience. A better bed would be a big upgrade, though, since this one is very soft. Congrats to the owner.

The staff were great and the rooms were nice, but the doors kept slamming through the night. We were kept awake by the noise echoing around the whole building. Hydraulic door closers would help prevent that.

We had a lovely couple of days here. The location makes it easy to get to Maastricht Center, and the beds were comfortable. The cozy boutique feel was great, and there’s a station with coffee, tea and water available all day, which is a nice extra. The service was very friendly. I’d recommend Hotel les Charmes!

The doors need some kind of soft closing mechanism. They make so much noise when they shut, and at night you hear them all over the place. It was horrible trying to sleep with doors banging all night.
