Sanne at breakfast made our visit especially memorable with her warmth, kindness, and outstanding service. The whole staff were professional, friendly, and attentive, and she deserves a special mention. In the end, it's the people who make the difference. The hotel itself is a unique, stunning former church in the heart of beautiful Maastricht. You can still feel its serene atmosphere, and the peaceful feel works so well with the modern, artistic design. Service was on point, though it was a shame we weren't offered a welcome drink when we arrived, especially as it was my birthday. Thank you, Sanne, for making our stay so special!

The breakfast was hands down the best we've had at any hotel, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved staying in this stunning former monastery. It made for one of the most unique and fun hotel experiences we've ever had.

The staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly, and just amazing. They also responded quickly when we had ants in the bathroom and a clogged shower drain that flooded the floor and the area under the sink. I admire the art, and the care taken to preserve the original decor in this old monastery is admirable, but the room wasn't one we enjoyed. There was no luggage stand, which made getting into our suitcase difficult, and the tile floor was so cold that rugs around the bed would help. The nightstands attached to the bed were only four inches off the floor. I'm sure whoever designed them never used them. A little more warmth in the "cloisters" would be nice.
