Tanti Baci!

The bathroom was clean, and the owner was friendly. The location was great, too. Still, the apartment didn't live up to what the photos, especially the exterior shots, had led us to expect, and we felt the price was on the high side. There were several cleaning issues. The outdoor seating area wasn't inviting for a cosy sit-down, with a construction fence and a tarpaulin barrier that hadn't appeared in the photo. The dining table was still dirty when we arrived, so we cleaned it ourselves. The windows weren't clean, and there were drip marks on the kitchen cabinets from something unknown. The bath towels had several faded stains that seemed to have been washed in. At first the bedroom looked clean, but we spotted a fairly large cake crumb on the bed frame by the headboard. The linen itself was clean, but when we took off the fitted sheet, we found hairs and dusty crumbs on the mattress topper. We do believe the place gets cleaned, just not thoroughly. When we mentioned these things as we left, the owner kept insisting it was clean, which made us feel a bit like we were being called liars. Regards, Manja and Tonny
